Signposting
We will always try to help our clients and carers, and anyone else enquiring about our services in the best way that we can. Sometimes however, we may not be the most appropriate organisation to help with specific support requirements, and in these situations we will endeavour to "signpost" service users to the most appropriate support organisation.

For example, if you have experienced an acquired brain injury, but do not fall within Headway South Bucks' geographical catchment area, then we can refer you to other local Headway branches including:

Sometimes we have queries from people who are very early on in their recovery from brain injury, with some still in hospital. In these cases, we may suggest sources of information relating to what to expect during recovery, understanding how brain injury might affect you or your loved one.

Headway, the brain injury association charity has lots of information about brain injuries and support available across the UK.
