We are affiliated with Headway - the brain injury association.
Our mission
Our mission is to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers.
Our objectives
-
The rehabilitation and care of people who have suffered a brain injury and who reside in Buckinghamshire and adjoining counties. We do this through the provision of services and facilities to suit the needs of individual service users.
-
To increase awareness and understanding of brain injury and its consequences
-
To provide information and support for people with brain injuries, their relatives, carers and concerned professional people
-
To participate in activities and campaigns initiated by Headway UK, which will reduce the incidence of brain injury
What we do
One of the main ways we provide support is through our 'Resource Centre', an in person venue, where brain injury survivors can come together and take part in recreational activities and therapies, aimed to help them in their recovery. Together with each client, we develop a plan to help them achieve their goals.

We also signpost clients and their families to other local and national organisations who may be able to provide further support.

We know that a brain injury doesn't just affect individuals, it affects families and loved ones too. We provide information, support and advice to our client’s families and carers.
Our Values
The values which inform our actions and ways of working are:
-
Empathy
-
Sensitivity
-
Client focus.
We work with our clients and their families and carers to find ways to support each person to establish a ‘new normal’.
